Project kick-off
The CyberQ consortium kicked off the project with engaging talks and discussions, setting the stage for a successful journey ahead.

CyberQ and TripleQ, two new initiatives under the Innovation Fund Denmark (IFD) Quantum Call, were officially launched at a joint kickoff event on 24 June 2024. Held on DTU’s sunlit Lyngby campus, the event gathered key stakeholders from academia, industry, and innovation to mark the start of these ambitious projects.
CyberQ aims to strengthen Denmark’s capabilities in quantum-safe cybersecurity by integrating QKD into existing telecom infrastructure. Bridging applied and fundamental research, the project develops advanced QKD technologies while exploring the necessary standards and protocols for real-world deployment. With a strong and diverse consortium, CyberQ is laying the groundwork for Denmark’s future in quantum-secure communication.
Project partners include: DTU Physics, DTU Electro, Ghent University, DFM, Dencrypt, SiPhotonics, and GlobalConnect.
